T. Tyrrell Turner
Owner & Exercise Physiologist
I received my M.S. in Exercise science and Health Promotions through California University. While attending Youngstown State University I received dual B.S. degrees in Exercise science and Psychology.
I am originally from Pittsburgh PA, I relocated to Florida in 2015 to enjoy the amazing weather and further my passion in health and wellness.
I have worked in a variety of fitness and health settings such as fitness centers and gyms, physical therapy practices, respiratory therapy & chiropractic offices.
The fitness industry has been my passion for 19 years working with a wide variety of individuals: weight loss clients, college and high school student athletes, pre and post surgery patients, post physical therapy and chiropractic patients, cancer, diabetic, cardiovascular, as well as everyday people.
As a youth I was infatuated with playing sports such as football, baseball and basketball. After playing college football, and professional football I learned how to coach and bring individuals to the peak of their abilities through teamwork, fitness and coaching.
Fitness has shown me the meaning of an achievable path when actions are taken in a disciplinary way that supports a desired outcome. Fitness has helped me comprehend that things we aspire to in life are not as far off as our minds project them to be.
Improving in fitness has helped me develop confidence that transfers over to every part of my life. I believe fitness no matter the goal should enhance your life and not take it over.
My mission is to help you become the most confident, fit, and self-believing version of yourself.
Battle ropes are a useful exercise tool for those looking to lose weight, gain muscle mass, tone their existing muscles, or train imbalances and endurance. Their best used as part of an existing program for optimum results in each of these areas.
The side kick works all the major lower body muscle groups, particularly the quads, glutes and outer thighs. Side kicks also automatically use the muscles of our core. We call this reactive core training, where our core gets stronger because the side kick forces these muscles to automatically respond.
One-hand push-ups are one of the most advanced bodyweight training exercises designed to deliver a powerful workout for your arms, pecs, and shoulders.
One-hand push-ups build core strength and stability. Your core muscles are engaged throughout the workout to stabilize your body.
